If Red doesn't pop up with different versions of those templates, I can take them into photoshop or something and whip up the numbers and who's in 'em. :3 Just to clear things up.

Well sarah could at least modify the first post to show at least who's on what floor....oh and as to the people sleeping out on burnt floors and bellboy rooms...perhaps they just like their privacy? Tell me, which would you pick, the burnt out hovel, or the well furnished with eloborately designed interior? I'd pick the good place by far...so in fact picking the bad place means I can be all by myself.

Kat or I can modify the first post, too, but it's nice to have the visual aid. I don't think we've figured out which rooms are which door-numbers, yet.
The only problem with the hovel is that it's... a hovel. XD No heat, no light except for what the sun gives. I'm sure they're not so bad during the summer, but it'd be pretty brutal in the winter. You'd get the privacy, but at the cost of living with any comfort. But hey! There's less noise to complain about, except for echoing feeding groans across the city!

That's why I'm not doing the numbers yet, because I don't know whitch room's witch. I'll update the who's on what floor part, though.

Yeah but if you work at it you can make a hovel into a decent place, since no one's been up to visit Tony no one's noticed he's found an old gas burner, boarded up everything he could and make the room actually somewhat comfortable, he uses his own gas to power the heater.

Sorry I haven't done anymore with the floorplans guys. The company I'm with has gotten to the point where I've become fed up with it, so I've been working hard on getting my portfolio together. I will definately try to get back on it when I can, that's for sure.
In the mean time, for numbering convention, since the front of the hotel is at the bottom of the floorplans the numbering should start at the room door closest to the bottom and proceed to the next closest and so forth. Also, the first room door number should end with a 0, an example for floor 3 would be rooms 30 to 39, with room 30 being the first door you would reach if you started walking up the hall from the bottom of the template.
I hope this helps for the meantime. Like I said, I'll try to get on those floorplans again as soon as I can but, if someone else wants to pick up the project, I won't be upset.

That makes more sense! Are they spaced so that even numbers are on one side and odd on the other?
Good luck with your portfolio!

Pretty much. The elevator might throw it off but that shouldn't matter much.
Thanks. It's been a long time since I've messed with my portfolio. Plus I'll have to make a few new pieces for the specific compnaies I'm looking into - so I'll probably need it.

In our building, the empty spaces are assigned numbers anyways, so it goes 02, 04, 10. 06 and 08 are taken up by the technical room and elevator hallway. That might be the easiest way to run it.

Anyone mind if we could come up with a general agreement where the main water pipes are located? ;D
I don't want to end up kicking people out of their rooms to work on things when I get home!

Well, aside from the boiler room which is in the bottom-right hand corner of the main floor (going down to the basement) I'm assuming that they'd run somewhere along that side of the building! I don't know much about plumbing, so that's my best guess.
