Gina pushed up against the woman, Maria was it? for comfort and trie her best to stop crying. Which eventually she managed to do, altough he still had an outbreak of the sniffles, peppering her speech,
"Y... Yeah, your *Sniffle* right. I... I shouldn't be so wet about th... this..."
Gina wiped away the last of her tears with the back of her hand and sniffeled again. But still, the though of her horrible stalker cam in to her mind again. But was he even a stalker?

The collared girls brows came closer together as she scanned through the scrawled letter. She didn't finish it the entire way. Looking down again at Gina, it was easy to see why she was in such a fit... Jo'd probably be ready to put someone's lights out if she woke up with this in her pocket, too. Then again, she had her own problems to worry about...
She'd be damned if she stuck around in the brothel with Melisande breathing down her neck (and that loop of leather was a constant, unwanted reminder of what was waiting for her at the end of the morning.) and obviously the mall was no longer a safe place for blonde midget. One plus one equals two, right?
Jolene kneeled down by the short girl. "Look, you're gonna be fine," in a conversational tone, then, leaning in a little closer, she said in a quieter voice, "You got sh*t to pack? Let's scram."

If Gina had Cat-Ears they'd be twitching right now, moving? Where? Was this because of me? Oh no! I'm ruining people's lives already and I haven't even been here long! How is Jolene going to cope with the job she loves doing? Oh why me, why...
"Umm..." Gina whispered back, "What do you mean pack? We don't have leave because of me do we?"

"Howsabout I tell you on the go, huh?" Jolene looked over to Maria. "You mind if we go for a walk? I'll keep an eye on her but we need to stretch our legs a little."

"Umm, yeah... A walk sounds Nice"
Gina gave Jolene a 'Please take me away from here!' look and began to get to her feet...

Without waiting for a reply from the chubby Brothel assistant, Jo got back to her feet and dug a few things out of that cubicle the two've them'd been sharing. There wasn't much. She'd traveled light ever since she joined in with Melisande's girls...
It'd be time to start stocking up again. That wasn't gonna be easy, but she'd work on it.
When she had everything she needed, the essentials really, she threw her head from Gina to the hallway. "Boot it."
The walk from the converted changing rooms out into the mall proper was one of the most harrowing Jo'd faced in a while. Every moment she was certain that she was under suspicious eyes, that she was going to get tackled and dragged back into Melisande's room and finished off in some gruesome way. The older woman wasn't a mind-reader, Jo reminded herself... still, it was impossible to keep that being-stalked feeling from settling in the back of her mind.
Once they were out on the second floor concourse, the tall girl felt better. "Alright, look," Jo only stopped once they'd put some good distance between themselves and the brothel so that, in fact, the place of business was out of view entirely. "We gotta get out of this mall entirely, like out of this mall because Melisande's a f*cking crackpot. Psycho, trouble." She grimaced and her hands balling into fists as she thought over the recent conversation with the Brothel's head. "You up for a long walk or what, cuz if you're getting sniped by some sicko for whatever the f*ck that was all about, I think we're better off getting some real distance between us and this place and I figure we're better off that way." She didn't usually talk so fast, but she was more nervous than she'd been in a long time.

Traveling light for Gina was no problem, as was packing. It took just that tiny bit of effort to grab her jacket loaded with her main items, as well as grabbing the blue and white sports bag containing her most prized possesion: Her project. Normally, her project's didn't take that long to make, simply gathering up the materials and working them into what she wanted to make using her skills, but this one was taking literally forever to complete. A lot longer than the week they normally took. It would all be worth it though...
After tailing Jolene down the corridor, trying her best to make herself look presentable (Which was hard to say that she had woken up ten minutes ago and had been crying, as well as shocked out of her brain!) and Listened as Jolene spoke. Right after she had delivered her announcement, Gina's head was full of questions too numerous to say. However, experiance told her that people hated being asked questions en masse, but she managed to ask the most nagging,
"S... Psycho? What did she do?"

Jo tugged down the defensive lapels of her denim jacket to reveal the black collar for a minute. "You really wanna know?"
She went for the brightly marked roof entry and found the door wedged open, then pushed through up to the stairs with a sneer of indignant frustration painting her bruised face. "She went batshit on me for dumping that dickface back at the firestation, alright? Fuckin' trying to make me property?! Get a load of that!" She needed fresh air; it was like this collar was choking her, she couldn't breath properly.
A hand crept down to her belt, pushed the jacket out of the way, slid one'a the smaller knives from her trio and brought the thing to her neck, mimicking earlier actions... Jolene continued up the stairwell as she laid lukewarm metal to hot leather and... and kept it there for a minute. Something was holding her back from just sawing the confining thing off...
Grunting, she sheathed the little knife again and paused near the top of the steps. Looking down on Gina, she saw a scared little brat... or maybe that was just just her projecting the parts of her that she didn't want to feel for herself. If it was, she didn't realize it and she would've laughed if it was brought to her attention. Jolene didn't feel sh*t.

The first reaction Gina got to the collar and the 'Property' bit was just plain eww. Even though she had never seen this 'Melisande' before, a vivid picture was being painted in her mind of a whip-cracking dominatrix that likes to keep her 'dogs' on a leash, explaining the collar. An even more vivid picture of Jolene clad in toe to neck in black leather and chains was being painted as well, with her own little black zip-mouthed mask to make as the cherry on top of the icecream...
Gross!
Gina couldn't help but take a little laugh at these pictures in her mind, even though that now would probably be the worse ever time and place to do it, with a woman pushed to the edge. And excuse! Hurry! Hurry!
"Erm, I, err... I was thinking about... that dog in the advert... y'know? Erm... the one that barks every time he's happy...?"
D'oh!

Gina got a staring at.
"Alright, yeah, sure." Jolene filed this one away as a little off her rocker. "You coming up or you wanna stick around and wait for your eye-popper to come lookin' for you?" At least Gina wasn't worried that it was Jolene who'd slipped the note into her pocket. That would make things a little more complicated.

"Umm... Sure..."
Gina quickly hopped up the stairs...

Jolene allowed the girl to take the front of their two-point line, following after her with guarded steps.
When they reached the roof-top, Jo took a quick look around. Clear sky, not a lot of people up here at this point. Good. Putting a hand to her forehead to shield her eyes, the young woman scanned the edge of the roof and caught of the concrete slab that was Julie General Hospital. "Thataway," she grunted, gesturing peremptorily. "We gotta hurry, too. We don't want the Hawks knowing too much, you know? Word travels fast and all that sh*t."

The hawks? Oh yeah, that gang...
"Umm, so after that, where?"

Jolene thought about that, making a face as she wiggled at her teeth with her tongue. "I figure the closest civilized place we're gonna find's up in the Grayside neighborhood. Up at the Pole. You been there?"

"No..."
