You don't remember that from so long ago Dray? It happened cause Werd's crazed zombie-gone-human alt bit me while a human, but you weren't around. Though I did distinctly show it off to pretty much the entire crew back in January...except Kin doesn't know about it, and some of the newer folks don't either. It's the reason why I wear the black glove...

*prods Tony with a pokin' stick* Your character! Differentiation! But yes, I remember now. ' Vile Momo's just a pain in the ass to everybody involved, jeez. How did it mutate, though? o.o I can understand, like, rabies, but I don't understand how a feral human would cause mutation. eta: Unless it was, like, Spider bite-style wounds or something (That link's got some gross wounds behind it! Don't click if you're squeamish!)

Close, from what I got from it((More like how I decided to try to make a story out of it)) His mind had been in such a state as a zombie could be, several of the actual RNA strands in the virus mutated to the point that victims of the bite from the human form of Momo would cause a slightly reverse affect when that being in revived. Instead of regrowing lost tissue/sinew/tendons and the like, they decay in a manner of speaking((No, my arms not really decaying, it just comes off as that appearance.)) Leaving the sight of bone, exposed tissue and tendons, and a few arteries visible to all others.

I really need to put that into my profile...but I get so lazy editing and writing profiles cause I really don't think anyone cares to read mine.

It would help if you learned to differentiate between yourself and your character. Such blurrings of the line make some people uneasy.

Spider bites are kind of cool, in person... <<;;
Except this one on the back of a guy's neck... that was a bit creepy.

My friend's little brother was bitten by a brown reclus...dang near killed 'em. The doctors said they couldn't treat 'em until they found the spider so we all hunted around the area he was bitten, and finally found the little bugger, trapped 'em and put 'em in a baggie.
...and quit sticking in those remarks Kin, you said it once already and there was a page almost full of people telling me off for it, so knock it off.

Tony, if you know people have been telling you off for it, why haven't you responded? Either to knock it off, or to explain why you do it? Avoiding the question ain't gonna help your case.
On the theme of spiderbites... ew. <.> My dad got one, when I was really little, while we were taking a road trip through the U.S. My dad, of course, being who he is, didn't get it checked out until almost too late... doctors said they'd almost had to amputate the arm that it was on!
Let this be a lesson to us all: If you have a strange wound on your elbow that won't heal, do talk to a doctor.

reminds me of the time I had a massive infection in my knee...nearly had to replace it...makes it so I couldn't play highschool football or basketball..>.<
I still never got all the rocks outta that knee....
Most of those wounds on those pages are from brown recluses...they're nasty little punks...dang, black widow bites don't even get that nasty. The recluse's poison is designed to actually eat away the infected area. ((Did a report on the things back in 7th grade biology.))
Also, I'm not avoiding it. I can see that I started to fade the lines of the character and the actual person, and I"m sorry for it...didn't really think I needed to respond though. Sorry.

Blurring's fun though. I always go for ONE of my qualities in a person I create.

Including personal qualities is one thing, but blurring is often looked down upon by most RP boards. If someone begins to associate themselves with their char to the point that they take personal offense to any ill will that comes the char's way, it makes for bad situations. Most groups refer to it as the IC/OOC border; something which can be jealously guarded. Any sort of crossing of the line indicates that a person doesn't realize the difference between reality and fantasy. Games are meant to be fun and entertaining, but just because char A decides to hit char B doesn't mean that player A has a personal vendetta against player B. That's just skewed logic.
However all chars have certain qualities of ourselves put into them. That's why no one else can play someone's char "perfectly". They literally do not have the right mind frame for it. So long as that definition between IC and OOC remains intact, there's no problem with including personal qualities in a fictional char. It's when the crossover starts to happen that sh*t hits the fan.

I distinctly remember Momo biting Tony, then being yelled at by Lady Raine (did I spell her name right? o.0 )
I think he also went after Whitefur a few days later XD
